Code of Conduct

Healthtech Women is a leading global not-for-profit that brings together like-minded females across the healthcare ecosystem. Our mission is to support each other in achieving our goals and ambitions, so together, we can make the world a healthier, happier, and better place. Founded in 2013, Healthtech Women has over 20,000 members worldwide and continues to grow. The prime objective of Healthtech Women is the promotion of women in the health space, not to promote business enterprises.

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for our leadership’s, members’, representatives’, ambassadors’, and volunteers’ behavior as well as the consequences of unacceptable behavior. We invite all partners, sponsors, speakers, attendees, contributors and other participants to help us realize a positive community experience for everyone.

Healthtech Women believes that our community should be open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all participants free from discrimination for any reason including on the basis of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, and religion.

Expected Behavior

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior includes: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any participants at a Healthtech Women related event. Some event venues are shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations.

Harassment includes: offensive verbal comments including as related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, age or disability; inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by Healthtech Women leadership, members, representatives, ambassadors, and volunteers. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

What to Do If You Witness or Are Subject to Unacceptable Behavior

If you are the subject of unacceptable behavior or witness someone else being subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify Healthtech Women staff as soon as possible. All reports will remain completely confidential.
